Oat kernel oil is an excellent choice in skincare for especially sensitive and problem skin. It rarely causes any adverse reactions or clogging, and softens and soothes skin.
Oat kernel oil in itself has a thick consistency yet leaves a light and silky feel on skin. In skincare, it works as an emollient and skin conditioner. It also has the added benefit of calming irritated skin.
We source our oat kernel oil from Fazer, a Finnish family-owned, over a 130-year-old food and food service company, who make their oil in Finland, using Finnish oats. The Finnish background matters, because the soil in Finland produces outstanding quality oats and it is quite rare for an oil producer to have a 100% local supply chain.
