The minimalistic, fragrance- and preservative-free two-ingredient Nourishing Oil Cleanser is a simple and gentle yet deeply cleansing oil that won't upsetting your skin barrier or leave skin feeling greasy. Cosmetic-grade Swedish rapeseed oil dissolves away excess oil, impurities and makeup, while a gentle plant-based surfactant washes it all off, leaving clean, nourished and soft.

The Nourishing Oil Cleanser is a favourite among our customers with mature, very dry and congested skin, and is also a great first cleanse for gently double cleansing sensitive and problem skin, without upsetting the skin barrier. 

Canola Oil, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate

Canola Oil

Emollient and skin conditioning. Sustainably produced, deodorized and purified Swedish canola oil (from rapeseed oil) gently dissolves makeup and dirt. Canola oil is commonly used in cosmetics and is well-tolerated, skin wise. It is slightly higher in oleic acid (at around 60%), with linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids at a total of just over 30%, making it a good all-around oil for most, and especially for drier and eczema prone skins.

Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate

Emulsifier/surfactant. A gentle, non-ionic and skin-friendly emulsifier and surfactant derived from sunflower seed oil. An emulsifier in general enables the mixing of water and oil, and in our Oil Cleanser this one specifically allows for the oil to be washed off your skin whilst also providing cleansing action.

1. Carefully massage 3-7 pumps onto dry skin without using water, using dry fingers.

2. Rinse with water, or wipe off with a damp washcloth.

Tip 1: Can be used as the first step for double cleansing with either our Milk Cleanser (for drier skin) or our Gel Cleanser (for oilier skin).

Tip 2: Removes mineral sunscreen effectively and gently.

The Oil Cleanser is suitable for use during pregnancy and while breast-feeding and is suitable for use around the eyes.

Fragrance-free

Fragrance-free, and free from essential oils, floral waters, alcohol and sulphates (including SLS).

Formulated for sensitive & problem skin in our own lab

Our owners, CEO Kristina and cosmetic chemist Jaana, formulate all our products in our Helsinki lab, and test them on themselves - both have a long history of sensitive and problem skin.

Preservative-free

The Oil Cleanser is entirely preservative-free as it contains no water.

Allergy-labelled

All our products carry the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation's independent Allergy-label.

Our tip

The Oil Cleanser is an excellent first step when you want to double cleanse sensitive and problem skin - gently and without irritating skin. Add our Milk Cleanser as a second step for dry or combination skin and our Gel Cleanser if your skin is oily, acne-prone or your dealing with clogged pores.

A minimum of ingredients

The Oil Cleanser contains just two ingredients. Formulated with cosmetic grade canola oil that dissolve excess sebum and impurities and a sunflower-derived skin-friendly cleansing agent that washes off clean. Check out our ingredient section above to learn more.

I use this brand for years and i love it. I tend to have clogged pores and pimples so i was not sure about using oil for cleaning BUT i was great, my skin loves it. Just clean, not irritated and NOT oily or congested.

Ihana öljyputsari!

Muuttunut koostumus?

Onko tuotteen koostumusta jotenkin muutettu? Aiemmin se huuhtoutui hyvin iholta, mutta nyt öljy jää vain kiinni ihoon ja on pakko pyyhkiä pois vanulla tai liinalla. Akneiholle tuntuma ei ole ollenkaan hyvä.

ei peseydy pois vaan meikin ja öljyn seos jää paksuna kerroksena ihon pinnalle liukumaan. Olen käyttänyt tuotetta ohjeen mukaan kuivin käsin kastelematta kasvoja ensin.
