”My skin when starting the three-week-trial: I have rosacea, which is visible in the form of flushing and redness on my cheeks. Especially physical activity, alcohol, stress and going in from cold weather to a warm room causes flare-ups. When I don’t have flare-up, my skin is quite even-toned, with the exception of some ruddiness in my cheeks. I get flare-ups a few times a week. Otherwise my skin is dry or surface-dry and I easily get small pimples.”
We created the following routine for Krista: the Gel Cleanser, the Balancing Essence Mist, the Calming Serum, the Clarifying Serum and the Face Cream. We soon made some changes to Krista’s routine, based on her feedback. The updated routine consisted of the Milk Cleanser, the Balancing Essence, the Calming Serum and the Face Oil. This new routine proved more effective
”I cleansed my skin with the Milk Cleanser, after which I misted with the Balancing Essence. After this, I applied the Calming Serum to my entire face and then 6-10 drops of Face Oil. In the morning I only rinsed my face with water, and stuck to the same routine, but with less Face Oil. In general, this worked better for my skin, and it didn’t feel tight anymore. If it felt like my skin needed extra hydration, I applied some Face Cream before the Face Oil.”
“After the trial period my skin felt calm, hydrated and just good. I usually go for as simple skincare as possible and fragrance-free products, so Laponie’s products suited my skin. My rosacea did not act upmore than usual during the trial and the worst flare ups did not occur. Especially the Face Oil seemed to suit my skin, as my skin was even-toned and kuulas in the morning. The Milk Cleanser left my skin feeling nice, and not tight. The products did not clog my skin and I did not break out more than usual or more often than before the trial. On a whole I was happy with the products and they helped my skin stay calm.”
