13 ways to use our All-Around Balm

Sometimes you want a product that does it all. Our award winning All-Around Balm tries its best – with an almost matte finish. Formulated for sensitive and problem skin without any fragrance or preservatives, it's a staple when skin acts up. Like all our products it's vegan and plant-based, with a minimum of ingredients.

The All-Around Balm is a versatile waterless, conditioning and protective skin balm. It can be used in a number of ways and also be combined with our other products.

The Balm is made with repairing argan oil and softening oat oil and bisabolol to soothe and heal. Hydrogenated argan oil and sunflower wax give it a a non-greasy, solid feel. The Balm leaves a semi-matte finish on skin, and won't travel - making it suitable for kids, too. The Balm is preservative and fragrance free, and contains no beeswax, making it suitable for sensitive and problem skin.

Warm a small amount between clean, dry fingers and gently pat onto skin. Swipe your finger for a light coating on lips or scoop up a small amount for your entire face. The product will soften in use and warmer weather. Works well under makeup, when applied lightly and gently patted onto skin. And remember: our balm is a dense and rich product, so a little goes a long way.

Here’s how we love to use the Balm:

1. As extra care for dry, rough or irritated skin

Use the Balm for entire face, body, dry cuticles, small scrapes, bumps and spots, protection from the elements - anywhere you need some extra soothing, softening or protective care. Layer as the last product over serums, toners, oils and creams - or mix it with your favourite product.

2. As lip care

Use the Balm for chapped lips.

3. As a soothing overnight mask

Use the balm as an overnight mask. Simply pat in a small amount over dry or irritated areas or your entire face for overnight soothing and softening care. Remember to use a hydrating product underneath, as the balm itself doesn't contain humectants.

4. For glowy cheeks

Give cheeks a bit of glow by patting a small amount over your blusher.

5. As After-sun care

Sun or cold got to your skin? Use the All-Around Balm for natural and vegan after sun care and as a protective outdoor cream.

6. As an protective outdoor cream

Cold got to your skin? Use the All-Around Balm as a protective outdoor cream.

7. To help scars fade

Dealing with scars? Combine the Balm with our Calming Serum to help scars fade.

8. As brow wax

The Balm is great as a brow wax when dealing with sensitive eyes. Just pat onto brows and shape.

9. Protective cream for hair dye

The Balm is a great sensitive skin protectant when dying hair. Add to your hairline to protect skin and prevent dye from staining skin.

10. As beard wax

Itchy skin and dry beard? The All-Around Balm doubles as a beard wax and a soothing treatment for skin.

11. As paw cream

The balm is gentle enough for the paws of our furry friends.

12. To treat rough hands (and skin)

Dry, itchy hands? Combine the Balm with our Balancing Essence for soothing hydration and care. Mix a dab of Balm with a few sprays of the Essence and apply to hands. Works well on the face as well when you want something lighter than just the Balm.

13. To tackle winter skin

During the colder and drier months sensitive skin will often need added hydration and nourishment. Our favourite product trio for tackling winter skin consists of our hydrating and soothing Balancing Essence, followed by our Hydrating Face Mask & Cream, topped off with the All-Around Balm. How to: 1) Spritz Essence onto clean skin, 2) gently pat in a small amount of the Mask & Cream and 3) seal it all by gently patting on a thin layer of the Balm. Winter skin no more!
